StrEat Fest 2025
StrEat Fest has quickly become one of Brussels' top events.
In just four years, it’s grown into one of the city’s most important food festivals. Showcasing some of the best culinary talent in Belgium, chefs from across the country will be serving up their creations for three full days at Tour & Taxis.
From May 16th to 18th, 2025, expect mouthwatering street food, free masterclasses and workshops, and a StrEat Market packed with local artisans.
I had the chance to get a sneak peek at what’s planned for this year — here are the highlights you shouldn’t miss, along with all the practical info to make the most of your StrEat Fest 2025 experience.
Friday May 16 to Sunday, May 18
The festival takes place at Tour & Taxis, located at Avenue du Port 86C, 1000 Brussels. Once you arrive, just follow the signs (towards Shed 1).

Friday, May 16: 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Saturday, May 17: 11:00 AM – 12:00 AM
Sunday, May 18: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Entry cost includes access to all workshops, masterclasses, and entertainment
Presale ticket: €13 / Children aged 6 to 12: €6.50
On-site ticket: €15 / Children aged 6 to 12: €7.50
Children under 6: Free
At the festival, the various dishes offered by chefs and food vendors range between €4 and €7 per plate.
For moderate foodies, a budget of €25–30 is recommended; for those who want to enjoy freely, €35–50 (including drinks).
Mexico – 2025 Honorary Guest
We all know it: Mexico has some of the best street food on the planet. This year, StrEat Fest is turning up the heat with three Brussels favorites showcasing authentic Mexican cuisine — Piña Taqueria, La General, and La Taqueria.
What’s included with your ticket:

👨🍳 Attend a masterclass dedicated to the art of Mexican cooking.

The StrEat Market will feature Mexican stands where you can stock up on spices, sauces, and treats to bring those delicious aromas home with you.

We can expect to be seriously spoiled at this year’s StrEat Fest. Some of my personal favorite chefs will be there, including Pascal Devalkeneer from the two-star Le Chalet de la Forêt, Alexandru Sapco from La Bonne Chère, Mathias Smet from Frank, and many more.

Practical Information:
Dishes are tapas size and cost between 4€ and 7€.
The Food stands are cashless. Like most Festivals, you will need to buy credits on a Festival spending card.
StrEat Cheffes - A 100% girl power evening
On May 16th, opening night, will be reserved to female chefs from all over Belgium, highlighting some exceptional ladies from the food industry.

Masterclasses
This year, you can attend masterclasses led by some of the biggest names in Belgian gastronomy — including three-star chef Viki Geunes from Zilte in Antwerp, two-star chef Pascal Devalkeneer from Le Chalet de la Forêt, and two-star plant-based chef Nicolas Decloedt from Humus & Hortense.
