Mizu

Last week I was invited to try Mizu, a Japanese restaurant at Châtelain, Ixelles and it was a really great experience. Not only are the dishes fresh and well made, they have a tablet ordering system that allows you to pick and choose as you go along. You can choose à la carte or a 5 course menu. The menus are priced at either 38€ or 49€, depending on the complexity of the dishes. Each person at the table can order up to 3 dishes per course. So you can potentially order a maximum of 15 dishes per person. For that price, you get a lot for your money. Everything is easy to share and the combinations are endless.
We had some really nice food and some creative rolls I’d never seen before. And I have to admit, the ordering system was really fun. It allowed us to not over order, since you make choices at every course.

The interior offers lots of privacy between tables and a large room in the back is perfect for big groups. A perfect place when you’re really hungry and in the mood for some nice Japanese food.
